Here’s some first updates from Kyle!
Kyle has been in such a good mood since we started traveling together that he wants me to take pictures of him everywhere… and here are a few of the bazillion pictures of him that I shot in DC. Enjoy.
If you have no idea what I’m talking about, please read this excerpt from my previous post.
“I’ll be traveling across the states starting from PA to west coast. My little origami frog will be taking you from the place to place. His name is Kyle…..”
I tried to get a nice picture of the sky, but Kyle wouldn’t move. So here it is.
“First time on a plane”
Now he arrived in DC, he went around the city with me, especially the famous spots!
Hey Pres. Lincoln, “be sure you put your feet in the right place, then stand firm.”
There are lots of people around you who might want you dead.
Dear Mr. Obama, don’t do this. I’m freaking out.
Smithsonian Institute National Air and Space Museum
Can you find me on the tip of the rocket / missile? Naww I’m joking :P
Taking a break at the biggest McDonald’s on the planet
And Kyle decided that he’d end his day with Washington Monument in his back. DC, nice meeting you. Kyle says he loved you.

Say hello to everyone, Kyle!
It’s been a while – so much story to tell you!
First of all, I’m not a college student anymore. As I will start my full time job in NYC very soon, I will have some more time to write more for this blog. Be on the lookout for the upcoming instructions for even more creative and useful origami!
Secondly, I finally got to see my parents the first time in a year and half! It was good.
At last but not least, I’ll be traveling across the states starting from PA to west coast. My little origami frog will be taking you from the place to place. His name is Kyle, because a Japanese word for a frog is “ka-e-ru,” with which we pronounce the “R” sound in Japanese closer to the “L” sound in English - therefore ka-e-lu, or Kyle. I hope this makes sense to most of you. Once I get settled, I’ll also post the instructions on how to make frogs.
