I’m friends with someone at CanvasPeople, which transforms an ordinary picture into canvas work of art. I thought this makes a great gift for anyone – and I decided to incorporate the idea of canvas into my origami video.
This is how I film it... nothing exciting!
I was excited to see smaller rats (elves) turn out pretty funny when they hold painting brushes.
Hope you enjoy my newest video out of oven!

I made this video because I was inspired by an experience from a week ago. My friend and I were chilling at my home over July 4th weekend, and started taking pictures of origami frogs. That’s where we started taking bunch of still photos and at the end, we made it like a claymation (except that the objects were origami.)
My other friend from an organization called L.I.F.E. (Long Island Folding Enthusiasts) taught me how to fold a rat, and I decided to put together a video… I named it Origamation. (Origami & animation)
Everything that appears in this video is made of origami. Other than very little tweak in color enhancement for the beginning part, nothing is touched up in the 328 photos I used to make this short film.
